Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political adviser who was the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 222. As a part of the Democratic Party, she previously was a part of the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson of the United States Department of State (2013-2015) and as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki worked as a CNN political contributor between 2017 until 2020. Psaki began her professional career with an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and was later elected governor of Iowa. Psaki then served as the press secretary deputy for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was also the communications director of Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, and the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 to the year 2006. Psaki returned in 2012 to political communication and was press secretary for President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. The 11th of February, 2013, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State. [20] The speculations that she would be replacing Jay Carney White House Press secretary when he left White House in the year 21 were fuelled by her hire at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as Carney's replacement on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 as the communications director, and she remained until the closing of the Obama presidency.
