Catherine Anne

 ACatherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born on March 4, 1954. O'Hara has been awarded numerous distinctions, including an award from the Genie Award and a Golden Globe Award. O'Hara also won two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, six Canadian Screen Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2018, she was elected as an Officer of Canada. She was also awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara first became known for her acting in the year 1974 as a member of The Second City in Toronto. Along with John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the main casting for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara joined Candy on the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984). She won praise from critics for both her writing abilities and acting, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award, 1981 for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the newly formed Second City artistic advisory board led by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
